Zoom Text Site License Information
A ZoomText Site License permits an organization to share ZoomText software amongst multiple users at a single facility. Site licenses are provided in five-user increments, ranging from 5 to an unlimited number of users. An organization can substantially decrease its per-user cost by purchasing a site license instead of purchasing multiple single-user copies.
Note: If ZoomText users within the organization are not all located at a single facility, a district license should be purchased instead of a site license (refer to the ZoomText District License Information).
Site License Terms
In order to qualify for a site license, an organization must abide by the following terms:
 | The organization must complete and return the site license agreement
(included in the Site Starter Pack) to Ai Squared before using the software.
| The software may only be installed and used on computer systems owned by
the organization.
| A site license applies only to a single facility. This includes a single
business location or a single college campus, but does not include multiple
business locations or separate campuses. | |
Each site license includes one Site Starter Pack. The Starter Pack consists of a complete software package (CD-ROM and documentation), 4 additional sets of documentation and five user licenses. Additional users can be added to the site license at any time by purchasing one or more Five-License Packs.
Five-License PackIf a site has more than 5 users, additional users can be added to the site license by purchasing one or more Five-License Packs. The Five-License Packs consists of 5 user licenses and one set of documentation. When a site license contains a total of 50 user licenses (1 Starter Pack plus 9 Five-License Packs), it is automatically converted to an unlimited site license.
Unlimited Site PackIf a site has 50 or more users, an Unlimited Site Pack can be purchased. An unlimited site license covers an unlimited number of users at a single site. The Unlimited Site Pack consists of 1 Site Starter Pack, 10 additional sets of documentation (a total of 15) and an unlimited number of user licenses.
Ai Squared software is available in various multi-user configurations, which are referred to as a site licenses. A site license permits an organization to use our software amongst multiple users. The number of users covered by a site license ranges from five to unlimited, depending on the configuration purchased. Each site license is restricted for use at a single facility (site). This includes a single business location or a single college campus, but does not include multiple business locations or separate campuses.

Site License Example
A university has a total of 25 low-vision students, who use ZoomText Xtra Level 2 at a single campus. The total represents a saving of $7,700 versus purchasing 25 single-user copies of ZoomText Xtra Level 2.

Site License Upgrades
Organizations who own earlier versions of a ZoomText Site License can upgrade to the latest version for an upgrade fee. Upgrade costs are based on the number of users in the site license. A major upgrade is defined as a change in the "ones" digit of the ZoomText version number (for example 6.xx to 7.xx). A minor upgrade is defined as a change in the "tenths" digit (for example 7.0x to 7.1x).

Credits for Single-User Copies
If your organization owns single-user copies of ZoomText, a portion of the original price will be credited towards a site license purchase. Credits for single-user copies of ZoomText Xtra can be applied towards the purchase of any ZoomText Xtra site license. The total credit cannot exceed the cost of the site license.
