Innovative Solutions Group Security
Innovative Solutions Group uses SSL encryption to secure
order information sent to us over the Internet. Introduced to the Internet
market by Netscape Communications, the SSL protocol protects your personal
information by adding a layer of encryption. This insures that your information
is not subject to "sniffing" by a third party. SSL protects your data
as it is transmitted and ensures no one can steal or look at the information
along the way.
This is safer than giving your credit card to a waiter in a restaurant. In fact
the Internet is the SAFEST place to use your credit card. Although over 10
billion dollars worth of business has been transacted on the net, there has
NEVER been a case of hacker credit card theft by breaking the SSL encryption.
SSL is designed to provide 3 functions:
·
Encryption, which guards against eavesdropping
·
Data integrity, which guards against manipulation
·
Authentication, which guards against impersonation
In Netscape browsers, a key appears in the lower left
hand corner to indicate the current security mode. When the key appears unbroken,
data sent between your browser and the Web site is secure; if the key appears broken,
the data is being sent unencrypted.
In Microsoft browsers, a lock appears in the lower right hand status bar during
a secure session. No lock is visible during normal unencrypted sessions.

In addition to using SSL encryption Innovative Solutions Group uses additional
practices to protect your credit card information. You credit card information
is never stored in any form on our web servers or any computer connected to the
Internet. This guards your information against theft after we have received
your information.
If you are still not comfortable sending your credit card information over the Internet,
check the box on our order form and we will call you for the information.
