InSync Buddy 3185™ headset

This Buddy microphone is based on Emkay 3185 headset/microphone.  Very similar in characteristics to TalkMic also made by Emkay products.  This is the same microphone element and element housing that we use in our favorably talked about BuddyQ microphone.

It is a good noise canceling microphone for speech recognition.  You could use it for speech dictation in noisy environments.

The best part of the microphone is ear piece design.  The speak never touches the ear.  There is a ring that goes around the ear.  The speaker is mounted on this ring and stays about half an inch away from the center of the ear.   The sound is not as good as other high-fidelity speakers, but it adds new dimensions to comfort in long term use.
